Now is the Time to Make Your Plan to Vote

Election day is just around the corner, and NARVRE is advising our members to finalize a plan to vote and have your ballot received on time, if you are mailing your ballot.

You can go to www.vote.org to verify your registration and gather information about how to vote in your community. Due to the
pandemic, many states have shifted requirements and polling locations, and if you intend to vote early or by mail, you must pay close attention to the deadlines.

You can use this link to double check that you are still registered to vote at your current address. Some states have purged their voter rolls, so you should make sure that you are still registered, if you haven’t already.

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has said that in order to ensure your mail-in ballot is counted, you must request it at least two weeks before election day. A number of states are also putting out drop boxes to ensure that postal delays do not become a problem.

Prepare and protect your right to vote.
